All About this ParentPick:

This movie really made me laugh. Zootopia was a very interesting movie with a plot that featured animals as the main characters. The movie was about a small bunny called Judy Hopps who dreams of becoming a police officer when she grows up.  As she begins her journey to become a cop, many people, including her parents, put her down and said that she should just stick to carrot farming as there had never been a bunny cop before. When Judy finally makes her way to Zootopia as a Police Officer, she is merely assigned a puny task of being a meter maid. Judy has to overcome all odds to prove herself. I liked the movie because it was funny, it had good graphics and the main character had a great personality (and her friend Mr Fox was hilarious too!) The movie will compel you to think about deeper issues like racial bias, prejudice and gender bias. A must watch!

Official Movie Blurb:

From the largest elephant to the smallest shrew, the city of Zootopia is a mammal metropolis where various animals live and thrive. When Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) becomes the first rabbit to join the police force, she quickly learns how tough it is to enforce the law. Determined to prove herself, Judy jumps at the opportunity to solve a mysterious case. Unfortunately, that means working with Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), a wily fox who makes her job even harder.
